Window tinting adds style and beauty to your vehicle. And is one of the cheapest ways to change the appearance of your car.
Ultraviolet rays crack and fade your vehicles interior, as well as harming your skin.
What thieves cannot see they usually will leave alone.
Window film holds glass together in the event of breakage, preventing flying shards.
The suns glare can make it difficult to see at times. Tinting the windows can help this.
During summer months window tint blocks a large percentage of the suns rays, making your air conditioner much more efficient.
During winter months window film holds heat inside the vehicle making it more comfortable for passengers.
By allowing you to turn your air conditioner down, window tint saves you gasoline.
Removal of old window film in most cases is a long and tedious task. Every so often you will come across a vehicle that the film comes off relatively clean, leaving little to none of the old glue on the glass. In other cases the film will be much harder to remove, particularly on the rear glass that has defroster/antenna lines on it. Therefore the prices can vary, but they generally will fall between $39.00 for film that is not too bad to remove, and $99.00 for harder more time consuming removals. Actual prices are given once we see the vehicle, and determine the condition of your windows. While no tint shop anywhere can guarantee that the defroster/antenna lines will not be damaged when removing old film, about 90% of the time they will survive the process unharmed.

There are 2 primary types of window film. They are Metalized and Non-Metalized. Metalized films have a metallic "sheen" to them. Some are very slight, while others are more noticeable. They tend to hold out a lot more heat and UV (ultraviolet light which is what cracks and fades upholstery, dashboards, etc...) because they reflect the suns rays back out of the vehicle. Non-Metalized films also hold out heat, and UV, but they have no reflective "sheen", and have a more "flat" look to them.

Each state has their own set of laws regarding window film, as to what can be tinted, and how dark. VA state law is 50% on the front doors (all vehicles), and 35% around the back area (passenger cars), Trucks, Vans, and SUV's are allowed anything they want in the rear area
